Odds in Double Deck pass 4 with no nines - TopWop - 09-14-2018
I play online with 7000 other players. Some of them are what I call "hope" bidders. They bid 175 and "hope" their partner sends them the 3 or 4 cards needed for a double run. Now I bid pretty high needing 1 card, and fairly high needing 2 cards, but I stop bidding at about 100 if I need 3 or 4 cards. Most of the time, when they need 3 or 4 cards, they go set. Sure, they get lucky once in a while and hit, but not that often.
My question is this: does anybody know the odds of making a double run needing 3 cards from your partner?
does anybody know the odds of making a double run needing 4 cards from your partner?
