Categorizing Meld Scoring Tables
#1
Categorically speaking, there are two main types of Meld Scoring tables.

Historically first, as far as I know, is the group that scores each meld unit using factors of ten.
Second is the group that simplifies the meld unit values so that the lowest scores are less than ten.

So as I ponder how I am going to design the Meld Calculator, Rule Documentor, and Pinochle Notation, I would like to seek the best term to divide the two groups.

"Tenth" -> "Deci" -> "Magnitude -1"
"Ten" -> "Deca" -> "Magnitude 1"

The word "decade" floats around in some online discussions.

I prefer to keep things "Science-y" when new terms are introduced.

Any clever ideas?
