I want to play Pinochle, online, with my sister in Italy.
I don't want to play with other people in a group or chat room etc.
I'm looking for a simple clean way for us to play, in real time, with us both seeing the same interface at the same time.

Can anyone suggest the easiest way to do this?

Thanks
World of Card Games will let you play with robot opponents and with people of your choosing.
Thank you ToreadorElder. I checked out World of Card Games. That will probably work it seems the only way for me to communicate with my sister is thru chat. Do you know of any site or app that would let me play the game and also see her onscreen?
Not offhand. To do that would require video feeds, and that means MUCH more bandwidth, and probably complexity.

Hi Monkey,

I just wanted to clarify that you can set up a private table to play with your sister in Italy, if you don't want other people pestering you. This is done all the time at WoCG.

It's true, the only way to communicate is via chat (typing). You can also send "personal messages", but that feature is not available while playing the game.

all the best,

Marya
